Had an electrical emergency so I called Bright Electrical Service. They showed up and fixed the problem. Excellent, prompt service and the rate was reasonable. Enough so that the following week I called for an estimate on some other work I needed. Been using him ever since. Val and his guys are great. Definitely my electrician from now on!!

Visual Comforts in DUMBO referred Val to me to install a chandelier, ceiling fans and other light fixtures. We also had some outlets and switches to install. First of all Val is a great guy, very personable, and that comes across right away. He is honest and dependable. When we laid out the work he made notes and asked to go over the instructions a couple of times. He communicated with me really well throughout the entire process. I couldn’t recommend Val highly enough. I would recommend him to anyone and know he would do a great job for them. Your electrician search ends here. Hire Val.

Bright Electrical Services is a the real deal. After four failed electricians in my prewar co-op, Val was the only one who was able to get the job done. He's very meticulous, shows up on time, is respectful of your home, and most importantly, can do the job at the highest standard. Val stopped by my place for an initial consultation to provide a price for lighting install and ended up staying two hours to help with a completely separate project. He isn't afraid of a challenge, and if he can't do the job to the highest standard, he will be honest with you about that and won't take on the work. Electricians are expensive, it's just the nature of the business, but having someone in your home who you trust to get the job done, is priceless, and that's Val.
